Long Story Short ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Quitting Time I do not approve of the way that Diaryland arranges my buddy list. Alphabetical order, I scoff at you. On the phone with my mother this afternoon she mentioned in passing that my sister in law quit her job. She took a stand! She could not take it anymore! She is going to work with a temp agency until a)they move, or b)she finds something worth doing for 40+ hours a week. I found that news very funny, considering that we are going to visit her this weekend. And especially considering that Professor K quit his job on Monday. That's the big life-changing news, by the way. And so now my brother and I have something in common, besides lineage: we are each the sole breadwinner in our households.
